Dr. Jesse Hsieh is CEO of Renasonce Health and President of Michiana VIP MD. He has been a Clinical Associate Professor of Family Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine for the past 20 years. He was President of the South Bend Clinic from 2005-2014. Dr. Hsieh currently serves as an active board member on the governing boards of the Beacon Health System, the Center for Hospice Care, the Indiana University School of Medicine-SB’s Medical Education Foundation, and the medical school admissions committee. He is actively engaged as the lead in current research with Notre Dame on spirituality and health outcomes. He also serves on an advisory panel for the American Board of Family Medicine. His many community services include the St. Joseph County Judicial Nominating Committee.
He has been featured in numerous healthcare publications and has been a regular resource for local television and print media for medically related stories, and is the Medical Editor for the magazines Sassy, Boom, and Family. His current special interests include teaching about the United States health care system’s complexities at Notre Dame’s MBA program, and separately, the application of Smart Medicine technology to the modern medical delivery system.
He has been married almost 30 years to a pediatrician, has 3 sons, and has 5 physicians in his family. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Illinois Wesleyan University, where he was president of Theta Chi fraternity, his Medical Degree from Southern Illinois University of Medicine, and his Family Medicine residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
