Jody Grewal, University of Toronto Mississauga
Jody Grewal, Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University of Toronto Mississauga, will deliver a talk on her research as part of the Eugene B. Clark Research Seminar Series. Jody examines the capital market effects and real effects (i.e., changes in behavior through investment and use of resources) of financial and sustainability information disclosed voluntarily and under mandatory reporting regimes. Jody’s research is published in leading journals such as Management Science. Media outlets including the Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg have covered her work. Jody has a Doctorate from Harvard Business School, a Master of Accounting and Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Waterloo, and is a Chartered Professional Accountant in Ontario.
