Applying to the Notre Dame MSBA
This 31-credit hour program provides a master’s level understanding of business analytics and positions you to use data to inform complex business decisions. In this program, you’ll learn to apply techniques for Big Data including data mining, data storage and manipulation, data visualization, statistics, modeling, optimization and simulation.
Merit-based fellowships are available to all qualified candidates, regardless of citizenship. These are determined by the Admissions Committee at the same time your application is being evaluated. To apply, simply check the appropriate box on the application form. No additional application is required.
International applicants are strongly encouraged to apply early to allow time for VISA paperwork and processing.
The following prerequisite coursework is required by applicants to the program:
- One Statistics course
- Two business courses in Accounting, Finance, Management, or Marketing
In addition, applications for the Notre Dame Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program must contain:
- Official GMAT or GRE score report

- Academic transcripts from all previous undergraduate or graduate education (unofficial copies are accepted for admission, but are required prior to starting the program)
- Official TOEFL, PTE, IELTS academic score report (international candidates who do not have degrees from English-speaking undergraduate programs)
