What You’ll Learn: MSF Course of Study
The MSF curriculum emphasizes strategic thinking and the broader view of business problems. Within a cohort structure, you learn in lockstep with your classmates. You’ll progress through concepts together and build upon each other’s strengths as you dive deeper into course content.
Your coursework begins with a deep understanding of Financial Statement Analysis and a grounding in Corporate Finance – great for students both new and experienced. You then proceed into Investment Theory, Financial Statement Forecasting, and Equity Valuation coursework. More complex courses in Derivatives, Fixed Income and Behavioral Finance provide in-depth coverage of rich financial topics.
Your MSF experience culminates with a Mergers & Acquisition capstone integration of financial strategy in a project-based setting. Whether you enter the program with previous financial experience or a fresh quantitative appetite, you’ll learn to create value for any organization by more thoughtfully maximizing return on investment.

- Prefer active employment or actively seeking employment
- Prefer two years minimum work experience
- For applicants who are employed, demonstrated employer support is necessary
- An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university
- U.S. citizenship, permanent resident (green card) status, or other visas that allow for full-time employment in the United States
- For applicants with less than one year of professional experience: strong academic record; relevant professional internships; and, we encourage GMAT/GRE
Tuition & Aid
The Notre Dame MSF offers a competitive price, college-sponsored fellowships and financial aid, meaning any student can put together a plan to participate in the program today.
Tuition for the MSF program starting in January 2019 is $61,405.

Please note that tuition does not include travel expenses or accommodations for non-immersion weeks, nor does it include travel costs to the Chicago campus.
Financing Your Education
Most MSF students finance their education through a combination of Notre Dame sponsored fellowships, external scholarships, personal income or savings and graduate student loans, including both private and federal loan programs.
While some students qualify for corporate financial sponsorship through their employer, it is not required to apply to the program.
