Admission
The M.S. in Finance is designed specifically for those without a previous background or education in finance. Applicants from other quantitative backgrounds – engineering, physics, mathematics, etc. – are encouraged to explore the program and apply.
Applicants who received an undergraduate GPA of 3.5 or higher, or those who will have their degree conferred from the University of Notre Dame, may have the option to waive the GRE/GMAT requirement. They are still welcome to take the exam but a lack of score will not have a negative impact on their admissibility. TOEFL and IELTS scores will still be required from international students who studied outside of the U.S. or did not study at an English-instructed institution.
