Course of Study: M.S. in Finance
You’ll begin your M.S. in Finance journey with a seven-week summer module that cements the fundamentals of accounting, investments, ethical management and more.
As you progress through the program, your expertise in focused topics like dynamic pricing, Python for finance, and valuation and modeling will expand, granting you a holistic yet practical understanding of the finance world in less time than other programs.
Your student experience is further enriched by intensive Interterm experiences and opportunities to supplement your studies with hands-on application of cutting-edge finance concepts, best practices and leadership skills.
Admission
The M.S. in Finance is designed specifically for those without a previous background or education in finance. Applicants from other quantitative backgrounds – engineering, physics, mathematics, etc. – are encouraged to explore the program and apply.
Applicants who received an undergraduate GPA of 3.5 or higher, or those who will have their degree conferred from the University of Notre Dame, will have the requirement to take the GRE/GMAT waived. They are still welcome to take the exam but a lack of score will not have a negative impact on their admissibility. TOEFL and IELTS scores will still be required from international students who studied outside of the U.S. or did not study at an English-instructed institution.

Tuition & Aid
Tuition for M.S. in Finance program is estimated at $54,900 for the 2021-22 academic year, pending University Board of Trustees approval.
Merit-based fellowships are available to all qualified candidates, regardless of citizenship. These are determined by the admissions committee at the same time your application is being evaluated.
