Community and collaboration are at the heart of the Notre Dame M.S. in Management (MSM): an 11-month journey giving you the skills to turn your passion into a profession. The STEM-designated MSM program provides you the foundational business principles to advance your career, no matter your undergraduate degree.

This is not an era for business as usual. Too much is at stake – in our world, in our workplaces, in our communities. This is an era for virtuous individuals with diverse interests and uncommon potential to lead human enterprises forward. This is an era for a business degree that gives you the tools to connect your gifts to a better future for all.

If you received an undergraduate GPA of 3.3 or higher, or will earn a degree from the University of Notre Dame, you will not have to submit a GRE/GMAT score. You are still welcome to take the exam, but a lack of score will not negatively impact your application. TOEFL and IELTS scores will still be required from international students who studied outside of the U.S. or did not study at an English-instructed institution.

Turn Your Passion into a Profession

The MSM enhances the skills and knowledge you bring from your undergraduate major, and shows you how to apply them in the world of business. You’ll work alongside classmates with a variety of backgrounds to learn business fundamentals. This is a program for engineers and artists ... for writers, biologists and historians who want to turn their passions into professional momentum.

A Community for Your Growth

At Notre Dame, our diversity is our strength. In the MSM, this includes different genders, races, and geographical, ethnic and educational backgrounds. Learning alongside others with non-business backgrounds will force you to think critically and creatively about today’s urgent business challenges. And problem-solving is one of the top traits corporate recruiters are looking for in graduate degree-holders.

Your Success is Our Mission

At every step of your journey, the Notre Dame community – fellow students, faculty, staff and the 144,000 Notre Dame alumni around the world – will be there to inspire and support you to reach your potential. The MSM’s smaller class size makes for a more personal experience, and allows you to get the attention you need. What’s more, you’ll work one-on-one with a career coach to develop a strategy for achieving your career goals.

Heather W., MSM '20

"My favorite part of the MSM thus far is how our class truly has become a cohort - learning, working, and playing together. We rely on one another and support each other so there is great camaraderie within our group."
