BUSINESS ANALYTICS

The business analytics concentration is STEM-designated. 

Description:
Business Analytics is the study of how quantitative techniques and computer software help businesses make better decisions. Applications come from all business disciplines. Examples of important techniques include data mining, statistical modeling, optimization, and project management. This track provides a structured program for students who want to signal a strong background in cutting-edge quantitative methods.

BUSINESS LEADERSHIP

Description: 
This track is designed for students who wish to pursue careers in various management areas. This track develops value-based leaders that have the ability to improve organizations with a broad set of skills including finance, marketing, sales, and operations. Many companies offer Leadership Development Programs that allow MBAs to rotate through various functional areas over a two to three year period. At the end of the program, they are considered for mid to senior-level executive positions.

CORPORATE FINANCE

The corporate finance concentration is STEM-designated. 

Description: 
This track is designed for students who wish to help a company find money to run the business, grow the business, make acquisitions, plan for its financial future, and manage cash on hand. You might work for a large multinational company or a smaller company with high growth prospects. Responsibility can come quickly and your problem-solving skills will be put to work in corporate finance. Many corporations also have leadership development programs in finance as well as programs focused on building future Chief Financial Officers.

DIGITAL MARKETING AND MARKETING ANALYTICS

The digital marketing and marketing analytics concentration is STEM-designated. 

Description: 
Increasingly, firms expect students to be familiar with the extraction, processing, analysis, and protection of data from various digital and non-digital sources to assist them with digital marketing, social media management, digital privacy, and multi-channel resource allocation. The DMMA concentration is an analytically-oriented concentration that focuses on digital and social media marketing and strategy, marketing decision-models, customer management and valuation, and pricing and distribution decisions. This concentration prepares students for careers in social media marketing, digital marketing strategy, online and mobile customer engagement strategies, marketing and data analysis, marketing research, and retail analytics.

INNOVATION & ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Description: 
This track is designed for students who wish to create/run their own companies, join a start-up company as an executive, or excel in entrepreneurial-focused work places.  Successful entrepreneurs have a keen ability to identify business opportunities or process improvements that benefit customers and drive the bottom line.

INVESTMENTS

The investments concentration is STEM-designated. 

Description: 
This track is designed for students that want to go into investment banking or investment management. Investment banking helps companies and governments issue securities and helps investors purchase securities, manage financial assets, trade securities, and provide financial advice. Investment management looks behind the numbers and analyzes market trends. Investment managers hold stocks and bonds for institutional clients and are on the buy-side of Wall Street. Some investment managers use the latest sophisticated quantitative techniques while others do very well using simple intuition. Both investment banking and investment management are highly quantitative, but the importance of the ability to communicate effectively cannot be understated.

MARKETING

Description:
This concentration focuses on fundamental concepts, theories, and frameworks in marketing. It provides the knowledge and skills to understand consumer needs and product markets, examines the impact of new technologies on the customer decision journey, and build meaningful customer relationships using behavioral and analytical insights. The courses include brand strategy, consumer behavior, growth strategy, advertising, integrated marketing communications, pricing, and distribution management. This concentration prepares students for careers in brand management, business-to-business sales, consulting, account management, customer management.

STRATEGY

Description: 
This track is designed for students who wish to formally report to a client, direct client personnel, prepare work plans, facilitate client teams to implement recommendations, organize and write proposals, and participate in new business development.

SUPPLY CHAIN & OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT

The supply chain & operations management concentration is STEM-designated. 

Description:
Supply Chain & Operations Management is the management of relationships in the network of organizations spanning from upstream suppliers to downstream customers, leveraging critical cross-functional operational processes to produce products and provide services for customers. This track is designed for students who wish to pursue careers in inventory management, procurement/strategic sourcing, manufacturing, transportation, customer service, lean, and Six Sigma.
