Bixby joins NewPage Corporation as chief financial officer

NewPage Corporation announced today that Jason W. Bixby has joined the company’s senior leadership team effective immediately as vice president and chief financial officer.

In this position, Mr. Bixby will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities for the entire company as well as financial planning.

Prior to joining NewPage, Mr. Bixby was an Operations Executive with Cerberus Capital Management, LLC, one of the world’s leading private investment firms. In this role his assignments included the positions of chief financial officer for Coram Healthcare Inc., vice president of Talecris Biotherapeutics Inc., and vice president of real estate and operations
for BlueLinx Holdings Inc.

From 2002 to 2004, Mr. Bixby was finance director for Medtronic Inc., in Minneapolis, Minnesota. From 1992 to 2002, he served in various finance roles with a progression of
responsibilities at the General Electric Company, and most recently as chief financial officer for GE Polymershapes.

Mr. Bixby received his bachelor’s of business administration in accountancy from the University of Notre Dame.
