Huron Consulting Group announces senior level promotions

CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Jan. 17, 2006–Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ:HURN), a leading provider of financial and operational consulting services, today announced that 11 directors have been promoted to the role of managing director.

Christine Beliveau, managing director in Huron’s Disputes and Investigations practice, works on investigations of public companies that are focused on revenue recognition or other complex accounting issues, and specializes in the software, healthcare, and high tech industries. She has more than 10 years of experience in professional services, including eight in public accounting with Big Four firms, and has the Chartered Accountant designation from Canada. Beliveau, who received her Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University, is based in the Company’s San Francisco office.

James Dondero, managing director in the Company’s Financial Reporting Valuation Services practice, has 20 years of experience in financial and economic analysis, corporate finance, valuation, and operations. He serves on the Appraisal issues Task Force working with both the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on valuation related issues. Dondero received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Michigan State University and his Masters of Management from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is based in Huron’s Boston office.

Todd J. Glomb, managing director in Huron’s Disputes and Investigations practice, provides litigation, accounting, and business process analysis services to clients, and specializes in the telecommunications industry. Glomb, who is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society, received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. He is based in the Company’s Chicago office.

Mark Grover, managing director in the Company’s Disputes and Investigations practice, has significant experience working with clients responding to accounting and financial reporting inquiries from the SEC, as well as other complex business disputes and financial investigations. He received his Master of Business Administration and Master of Accounting from Northeastern University. Grover, who is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is based in Huron’s Boston office.

Kevin McGowan, managing director in Huron’s Performance Improvement practice, has 20 years of consulting experience providing strategic planning and analysis, operational cost reduction, outsourcing assessment, and organizational design. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University and his Master of Business Administration, Finance and Business Strategy from the University of Chicago. McGowan is based in the Company’s Chicago office.

Diane Ratekin, managing director and senior counsel in the Company’s corporate Legal department, has more than 20 years of experience practicing law with nationally recognized law firms and publicly held corporations. She received her J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law. Ratekin, who is a member of the American Bar Association, the Corporate Counsel Association, and the Chicago Bar Association, is based in Huron’s Chicago office.

Judith Roberts, managing director in Huron’s Disputes and Investigations practice, is an applied microeconomist with more than 15 years of combined academic and nonacademic experience. She has conducted numerous large-scale econometric studies on a variety of subjects. Roberts received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Cornell University and her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan. She is based in the Company’s Boston office.

Lisa Robison, managing director in the Company’s corporate Financial Planning and Analysis department, has more than 20 years of accounting and finance experience. She leads the finance team, which is responsible for internal financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes and tools. She received her Bachelor of Science in Commerce from DePaul University. Robison, who is a CPA, is based in Huron’s Chicago office.

John E. Steele, managing director in Huron’s Healthcare Payor practice, helps clients respond to a variety of business issues and unique compliance requirements in the health insurance industry. This includes assisting clients with regulatory and contractually driven claims and disputes, as well as operational issues through extensive data analysis and fact based investigations. Steele received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago. He is based in the Company’s Chicago office.

Joy Walton, managing director in the Company’s Higher Education practice, assists research universities and academic medical centers with technology solutions supporting the research enterprise. She has spent much of her career providing technological and software solutions to support complex research administration processes and issues at large research organizations throughout the country. Walton received her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a frequent speaker at many national forums focused on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of research operations. She is based in Huron’s Chicago office.

James D. Zinn, managing director in Huron’s Legal Business Consulting practice, specializes in the strategic and tactical use of technology in investigative and litigation consulting services. He leads the Company’s national Digital Evidence Laboratory, which provides forensic analysis of digital media. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and his Master of Accountancy in Information Systems from Brigham Young University. Zinn, who is a Certified Fraud Examiner and CPA, is based in the Company’s Chicago office.
