The University of Notre
Dame’s Mendoza College of Business earned top 10 rankings in business specialty
categories in the recent 2011 Bloomberg Businessweek annual ranking of the
“Best Undergraduate Business Programs by Specialty,” the university announced
The results included a first-place ranking in ethics, a No. 2 spot in sustainability, and fifth-place rankings in both accounting and calculus. Other specialties earning top 10 spots included: macroeconomics, No. 6; microeconomics, No. 7; business law, No. 8; financial management, No. 9; and marketing and operations management, both ranked No. 10.
The specialty rankings are calculated using survey data. Mendoza received the overall No. 1 in the 2011 survey for the second consecutive year.
