Notre Dame wants to help St. Joseph County assessor improve property assessments

The University of Notre Dame has volunteered to help St. Joseph County Assessor Rosemary Mandrici improve property tax assessments.
At no cost to the county, the university’s Mendoza College of Business will analyze data in the coming months to help Mandrici’s office determine if a new method of assessing residential neighborhoods should be used. An agreement for the project was approved Tuesday by the county Board of Commissioners.
