McDonald Promoted to Ensure Quality and Growth of new Members in the Buying Group

Prime Advantage is proud to announce that Mike McDonald, former director of member recruitment has been promoted to vice president, new business relationships.

Mike McDonald joined Prime Advantage in 2000 as a regional account manager responsible for the Southeastern region of the United States. As vice president of new business relationships, Mike has played a large role in the quality and growth of new members in the buying group.

Mike's responsibilities include overseeing the entire recruiting process, new business development, and creating, implementing and monitoring specific marketing strategies.

Prior to joining Prime Advantage, Mike was a Regional Sales Manager for Welded Tube Company of America. He also spent four years in sales and management positions with the financial services division of Bank One.

Mike received his BBA in Marketing and Business from Grand Valley State University and his MBA from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame.

The promotion went into effect on September 1, 2008.

A tested marketer and strategist with a proven record for strengthening customer relationships, McDonald formalized recruitment activities, organized a member recruitment committee among existing Prime Advantage member companies and has  helped the company grow its ranks by communicating the benefits of group buying power and strategic sourcing during one of the most challenging times in American manufacturing.
