TechCFO adds Gary Strickland as partner in Boston office

TechCFO, a leading provider of outsourced CFO-level financial and management services for
technology and biotechnology companies, today announced the addition of Gary Strickland as
Partner to its Boston office. Strickland is the latest partner to join the company’s Boston location, which opened in May of last year.

Strickland is a financial executive with more than 22 years experience in public and private
technology companies. He has a broad range of financial experience, including capital raising,
budgeting, restructuring, strategic planning, operations and SEC reporting, bolstering the
capabilities of the Boston-based leadership team.

Strickland is best known for taking ZipLink public in 1999 and for growing a SunGard business unit from $23 to $63M. Strickland has raised more than $120 million of equity and debt financings for companies. He is the former Chief Financial Officer of SunGard BancWare, a leader in balance sheet risk management software and $63M business unit of SunGard Data Systems. Prior to SunGard, Strickland served as VP of Finance and Administration of AP Engines and Chief Financial Officer of GammaGraphX. Strickland started his career with the Entrepreneurial Services Group of Ernst & Young. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame.
