Christina Frank-Lieberg, CEcD, is an accomplished economic development and engagement leader with more than a decade of experience building strategic partnerships that drive business growth, community impact, and career opportunities. As Director of External Engagement for the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame, Chris leads initiatives to strengthen connections between employers, alumni, and graduate business students, creating pathways for meaningful professional relationships and impactful career outcomes.

Before joining Notre Dame, Chris served as Executive Vice President of Cornerstone Alliance, where she led business attraction, retention and expansion strategies throughout Southwest Michigan. In this role, she successfully secured investments, developed innovative programs, and cultivated long-term relationships with corporate, public, and nonprofit stakeholders at local, national, and international levels.

Chris is the founder of FLEX: Female Leadership Excellence, a nationally recognized program that has sold out every year since its inception and inspires women to lead with authenticity and resilience. She holds the Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) designation, one of the profession’s highest credentials, and has been honored as one of the Top 50 Women Leaders of Michigan by Women We Admire.

Known for her collaborative leadership style, Chris is passionate about creating environments where people and organizations can thrive. She continues to champion mentorship, inclusive economic growth, and strategic engagement that delivers measurable outcomes for both businesses and communities.
