Aysegul Keskin Zeren holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Kent State University and an M.A. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from Sabanci University, Turkey. She has mediation certifications from Cleveland Mediation Center and Center for Conflict Resolution in Chicago. She taught peacebuilding, conflict transformation, communication and alternative dispute resolution skills, and post-conflict and transitional justice at several institutions, including Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame; Center for Applied Conflict Management at Kent State University; and Cuyahoga Community College. She currently teaches conflict transformation courses at John Carroll University and Managing Conflicts course at Mendoza College of Business. She also assists local organizations in designing and restructuring conflict resolution training programs and conducts training in conflict management, mediation, negotiation, and communication skills. Her articles on reconciliation and transitional justice have appeared in academic journals.
