Christopher Hillak joined Mendoza in December 2019 and holds the position of Academic Operations Coordinator, Executive MBA and Non-Degree Programs. In this role, Christopher supports the academic operational needs of the Executive MBA and non-degree programs in both South Bend and Chicago. This includes planning and managing logistics for residency weekends, supporting faculty course needs, and assisting students. Christopher is a member of the Mendoza Staff Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council and serves the wider University community as a Diversity Education Volunteer and on the steering committee of Spectrum, the University's LGBTQ+ and Ally employee resource group. In addition to Notre Dame, Christopher works as the Missioner for Digital Communications for the Episcopal Diocese of Northern Indiana. His previous experience includes operations, teaching, and marketing roles at Apple and Saint Mary’s College.
Christopher earned a Master of Public Affairs (MPA) with double concentrations in Nonprofit Administration and Policy and Government Administration and Policy and a Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) in Arts and Humanities with a minor in Religious Studies, both from Indiana University. He currently volunteers as a member of the IU South Bend Alumni Association Scholarship Committee and as an executive board member of Province V of The Episcopal Church. Christopher and his husband reside in the South Bend area.
