Elizabeth Chorvat teaches Advanced Accounting Analytics with Python, Financial Data Visualization, Data Management, Data Exploration and Visualization, and Advanced Analytics for Accounting and Finance in the Mendoza College of Business. Her research is centered in public finance, including the interaction of tax rules and financial disclosure with strategic and investment behavior by both corporations and individuals. Professor Chorvat serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Applied Accounting Research. She earned a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago with a concentration in Applied Econometrics and an S.J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School with a concentration in Public Finance. Her professional expertise is in the field of international taxation.
