Fred Nwanganga, is an associate teaching professor of IT, Analytics, and Operations in the Mendoza College of Business. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in machine learning, unstructured data analytics, and python for analytics. Fred has over 20 years of Information Technology leadership experience in both the private sector and higher education. Prior to his time at Notre Dame, he also co-founded and ran an IT Business Services consulting company for 3 years. Fred is the author of several LinkedIn Learning courses on Machine Learning, Python, Deep Learning, and Generative AI. He is the author of the "CompTIA DataX Certification Study Guide (Sybex, 2024)" and the co-author of “Practical Machine Learning in R (Wiley, 2020)”. He earned both his B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Andrews University. He also holds an MBA from Indiana University, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
