Before joining Mendoza, Huy served as an associate teaching professor in the Department of Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics at Notre Dame, where he chaired a multi-section undergraduate statistics class, supervised research projects for both undergraduate and Master students, and developed and taught both undergraduate and graduate classes. The courses he taught were in the areas of mathematical finance, statistical inferences, time series analysis, and probability and statistics. Notably, Huy was among the highly selective faculty who built and taught online courses for the university’s first Online M.S. in Data Science program.
