Keyan Li is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Mendoza College of Business, University of Notre Dame. Li received his Ph.D. in Management (Quantitative Marketing track) from MIT in 2024. His research integrates machine learning and economic theories to develop and sustain business strategies. He is particularly interested in strategies on AI integration, new product development and customer growth management. Li's current work has two lines. First, he explores how to maximize the informational value of existing data when experiments (e.g., A/B tests) are either expensive or prohibitive. Second, he solves incentive (compatible) design and product design problems in the domains of innovation and creativity, as well as at their intersections with AI. Before his Ph.D., Li received an S.M. in Management Research from MIT, an M.S. in Theoretical Economics from Tsinghua University, and a B.Econ. in Economics from Fudan University.
