Lauren Vollon is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Accountancy. Lauren's research is focused on the role of disclosure (regulation) and its effects on capital markets and on the behavior of different stakeholders. He teaches Foundations of Accountancy to undergraduates in the Mendoza College of Business. Prior to joining the faculty at Notre Dame, Lauren was an Assistant Professor at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. He received his Ph.D. and MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2022, earned his MSc in Finance from UC San Diego in 2015 and his BSc in Business Economics from KULeuven in 2014.
