Teresa True
- Biography
Teresa True joined Mendoza in 2019 and is the Senior Associate Director of Graduate Student Advising on the Mendoza Graduate Student Life team. She leads a team of advisors who provide comprehensive support for students in the MBA and Specialized Masters programs to help them achieve their academic goals. She is also one of the advisors for the MBA program who assists with course planning, communicates policies, and connects students with the resources available to them.
Teresa has worked in higher education for over 20 years. During her time at Mendoza, she previously served as the advisor for the Master of Science in Accountancy, Master of Science in Management, and Master of Science in Business Analytics programs. Before coming to Notre Dame, she worked in Academic Services, supporting MBA students at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. At the University of Missouri, she was an academic advisor for undergraduate business students, an instructor for a Learning Strategies course, and the Panhellenic advisor for the Office of Greek Life.
Teresa was selected to participate in the Executive Program for Emerging Leaders at the Booth School of Business and the ND Elevate: Women in Leadership Program at the University of Notre Dame. She was awarded the Mendoza Dean’s Excellence Award for Elevation for significantly improving student satisfaction.
Teresa holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology from Bradley University and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership Policy Analysis with an emphasis in Student Affairs from the University of Missouri. She lives with her husband in Chesterton, Indiana with their two sons.
