Xiaojing Duan is an Associate Teaching Professor of IT, Analytics and Operations. She teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses including Python for Data Analytics, Data Management, Python for Finance, Foundations of Coding, and Data Exploration and Visualization. Her research focuses on the intersection of AI and education, with a commitment to improving student learning outcomes and experiences through technically rigorous and ethically responsible AI solutions. She employs human-centered AI principles to develop systems that promote fairness, transparency, accountability, and trust in human–AI collaboration.
