  • Biography

Patrick Farran joined Mendoza in 2018 after a 20+ year professional career in consulting, and holds the position of Associate Director of Graduate Business Career Development. In this position, he serves as a career coach to full time MBA students pursuing careers in consulting, strategy, and entrepreneurship, and he teaches in the Integrative Leadership Development program and the Career Leadership Course to incoming MBA students. He also helps support consulting employer relationships and is active in the start-up ecosystem through Notre Dame’s IDEA Center, the South Bend Community, and Chicago.

Farran earned his B.S. in Chemistry and Mathematics secondary education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, his MBA from DePaul University in Chicago, and his PhD from Benedictine University’s Center for Values-Driven Leadership where his research explored work meaningfulness and organizational change. He holds certifications as a PMP (Project Management Professional), SPHR (Senior Professional of Human Resources), and in the use of Appreciative Inquiry. His hobbies include performing in community theatre and triathlon training.
