B-School Commencement 2013: GM’s Dan Akerson

The chief executive of General Motors (GM), Dan Akerson, delivered the commencement address to MBA graduates of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business on Saturday. Akerson told graduates that “there are the career-defining tests of character, where you must be prepared to lead by example. Luckily, these kinds of tough calls don’t occur every day. However, a single misstep can undo a decade or more of hard work.”
