Ed Hums ’75, a teaching professor of accountancy, expertly flips pancakes as his wife, Shirley ’97MNA, who works in IT support at the Joyce Center, pours the batter in uniform circles to create chocolate-chip or blueberry treats. They've been part of the faculty-in-residence program for over six years, providing students in their dorm with the benefit of their life experiences and a sympathetic ear.
