Comcast, one of the nation’s leading providers of entertainment, information and communication products and services, today announced that Rich Jennings has been named Regional Vice President of the Mile High Region.

Jennings, who joined Comcast in 2005, is re-joining the company’s Mile High Region after previously working as Vice President and General Manager, overseeing the company’s broadband operations in the Denver Metro communities of Colorado. Most recently, Jennings served as the Vice President of Fulfillment in Comcast’s Freedom Region, where his territory included the eastern operations of northern Delaware, New Jersey, and the greater Philadelphia area, giving him the unique challenge of serving Comcast’s corporate team.

As Regional Vice President, Jennings will oversee sales, technical operations, customer service and local marketing. The Mile High Region includes about 3,500 employees in Colorado and New Mexico.

“Rich has played a crucial role at Comcast since joining the company in 2005. With his in-depth knowledge of and dedication to our customers, our products and our business operations, we are more than confident that he will be an outstanding leader for the Mile High Region,” said West Division President Steve White. “With an exemplary track record of exceeding business goals throughout his career, Rich is an inspiring leader who can develop and implement targeted business strategies and motivate diverse teams to success.”

Rich is a Chicago native and a graduate of the University of Notre Dame where he received his business degree with a concentration in Marketing. He has completed executive education programs designed specifically for telecommunications executives through the University of Denver and Harvard Business School. Rich and his family will be relocating from the Philadelphia area back to Denver.
