Flynn begins role as U.S. Attorney

Terrance Flynn has officially taken over as U.S. Attorney for the Western District of New York via confirmation by the United States Senate.
Flynn, nominated by President George Bush last December, will serve a term of four years. He succeeds Michael Battle, who left the post for a job with the Justice Department in Washington.
Flynn, a native of Livingston County and Buffalo resident, is an alumnus of the
University of Notre Dame with a degree in Accounting and the University of Buffalo Law School.
