The University of Notre Dame Master of Science in Management (MSM) ranked No. 4 in the nation in the Financial Engineer‘s inaugural rating of specialty degree programs for non-business majors. MSM is one of seven graduate business degrees offered by the Mendoza College of Business at Notre Dame.

The graduate degree resource website ranked 63 schools on factors such as mean GMAT score, mean undergraduate GPA, acceptance rates and employment data.

The top three schools were MIT, Northwestern University and New York University, respectively. The complete list, along with links to the methodology used in computing the ranking, may be found at https://www.thefinancialengineer.net/management-rankings/

MSM (formerly known as the Master of Science in Business) graduated its first class of 28 students in May 2014. The 10-month program, intended for non-business majors with less than two years of work experience, bridges a student’s undergraduate work with its application in a business context by providing fundamental business knowledge and skills. In addition to core business courses such as accounting, finance, business ethics, marketing and management, students also gain career development skills and have the opportunity for international study in China as well as an externship with a partnering company.
