Notre Dame MBA ranked 29 overall, 4th for ROI by Businessweek

The University of Notre Dame MBA ranked No. 29 among business schools worldwide in the Bloomberg Businessweek magazine’s survey, “The Best U.S. Business Schools 2014,” released Tuesday (Nov. 11).
The program, located in the Mendoza College of Business, also ranked fourth in the publication’s listing of “return on investment” at top schools.
Bloomberg Businessweek rated 112 full-time MBA programs—85 U.S. schools and 27 international—on three measures: a survey of student satisfaction (45 percent of the ranking); a survey of employers who hire those graduates (45 percent); and intellectual capital as measured by faculty research in esteemed journals (10 percent).
For the 2014 ranking, the business publication implemented significant changes to each of the three ranking components compared to its previous methodology. A complete description can be found on the Businessweek site.
The Notre Dame MBA, which offers one-year and two-year formats, is noted for its innovative teaching in the area of problem solving and for its emphasis on personal and corporate ethics as well as social responsibility. The program features experiential learning and international immersions in Asia and Latin America.
