ANN ARBOR , Mich. , Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ — The Great Lakes Entrepreneur’s Quest (GLEQ) will continue its fall program for entrepreneurs with the business commercialization “Go To Market Sales Strategy” seminar on Tuesday, September 19th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Michigan Technical Education Center (M-TEC) at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Over $10.7 million was recently awarded to GLEQ alumni from the 21st Century Jobs Fund, bringing the total investment into GLEQ companies to over $30 million. Admission is free with pre-registration.

David Brenner, Managing Partner of IdeaWorks, an entrepreneurial senior executive with over 30 years domestic and international experience in leading successful start-up and high-growth companies, will relate his start-up experiences, provide a structured view of the Go To Market Sales Process and facilitate discussion of specific issues confronting participating entrepreneurs from the group. About our Facilitator

David Brenner, Managing Partner: Founder and managing partner of IdeaWorks headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan. IdeaWorks is an incubator/accelerator for new business ventures, assisting seed stage entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into viable new businesses. Previously, David was a senior executive with the Kellogg Company and Amway Corporation. He began his career with Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson in marketing. Throughout his career Dave has championed entrepreneurial endeavors, both within the organization and from outside sources. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, David is a trustee on the Gigot Advisory Board for Entrepreneurial Studies and a member of the Irish Angels network.

Mr. Brenner has served on numerous for-profit and non-profit boards, including as past Chairman of the Great Lakes Entrepreneur’s Quest, the prestigious State of Michigan business plan competition, the American Marketing Association Foundation, the AMA Edison Awards board and as co-founder and past president of the Western Michigan Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).
