Mel Dowdy, Ph.D., Lead Program Faculty and Facilitator
Mel serves as program faculty for the Mendoza College of Business and Executive Education’s signature programs that develop values-based leaders. Mel’s areas of expertise include executive coaching, team building, leadership development and organizational change consulting. Dr. Dowdy was awarded the Notre Dame Executive Education Inspiring Educator Award for 2011.

Bob Anderson, Program Faculty and Executive Coach
Bob is the Founder of The Leadership Circle and Co-Founder of Full Circle Group through which he created The Leadership Circle Profile™, an integrated leadership assessment tool. He serves as program faculty for the Mendoza College of Business as an experienced consultant, leader, and businessman.  Bob’s practical approach to leadership is rooted in his entrepreneurial experience.

Alan Kerins, Program Faculty
Alan is the founder of The Alan Kerins Projects through which he raised millions for vital and life saving projects. He has used his range of experience as a professional athlete and chartered physiotherapist to develop and lead the Inner Winner Institute, which offers elite leadership, personal, and professional development courses. Alan also has the distinction of winning both All-Ireland football and hurling medals for his County and Club.

Anne Nagle, Program Faculty
Anne spent over twenty years in senior corporate roles in manufacturing and outsourced supply chain management (SMC) sectors in multinational contexts. As vice-president of SCM, she oversaw significant restructuring of supply chains in high profile client organisations in Europe, US and Japan. In 2007, herr further training focused on leadership development. She now supports individual executives and work teams grow their adaptive capacity. Her extensive corporate experience coupled with her understanding of human development, including her own, helps create safe spaces for clients to surface places where they are stuck and explore new possibilities.

Sr. Maire Hickey, Superior Abbess
Sr. Maíre has been influential in the monastic world for four decades as part of the Benedictine community. She was instrumental in creating the ‘Communio Internationalis Benedictinarum’ to globally unite Benedictine women in a common mission. Sr. Maire has served as superior in Dinklage and Kylemore Abbey, where she is a highly sought after retreat mistress and spiritual guide.

Des Lally, Program Faculty
Des has lived and worked in Connemara for over 30 years and is currently a PhD candidate researching the Gate Theatre Dublin and its role in Irish Modernism. He is also Chairman of Clifden Arts Festival and Co-editor of a forthcoming collection of essays on the Gate Theatre. Desis a self-confessed bookman and avoids technology at all costs.
