Renmin & Notre Dame Dual Degree
The Notre Dame-Renmin Executive Master of Nonprofit Administration (EMNA) is an academic partnership between the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business and Renmin University of China (RCU). Launched in summer 2013, the dual-degree program was designed specifically for Renmin students pursuing a Master of Public Administration (MPA) through RCU’s School of Public Administration and Policy who plan to enter nonprofit careers.
By the end of the three-year program, students earn an MPA from Renmin and an MNA from Notre Dame.
Administered through Notre Dame’s esteemed Executive Master of Nonprofit Administration program, the program helps students gain business acumen unique to the nonprofit sector through an intensive, practical experience.
- Renmin students spend two summers at Notre Dame, earning 21 credit hours of the required 42 credit hours for the MNA degree.
- Courses are taught by professors of a renowned business college regarded for its commitment to service.
Renmin University, also known as the People's University of China, is one of China’s most prestigious universities and a comprehensive research institution. Located in Bejing, the university enrolls approximately 23,000 full-time students, graduate and undergraduate.
