Nathan Meikle is a postdoctoral research and teaching associate at the Mendoza College of Business. He researches social perception and its implications for organizations. Specifically, he examines the cues people use to form impressions (e.g., confidence, deference) and the biases that affect people's perceptions (e.g., motivated reasoning, exponential growth bias). For example, he is currently examining people's perceptions of artificial intelligence and the ethical and organizational implications of these perceptions. His research on social perceptions and bias has been published in Research in Organizational BehaviorThe Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, and The Oxford Handbook of Advice

Prior to earning his PhD, Nathan earned a JD from Stanford Law School. He also spent ten years working as a radio broadcaster for college football games across the country.
