Keith Urtel is an Associate Teaching Professor with over 40 years in public accounting practice, primarily with Ernst & Young. At EY, he held various audit and accounting leadership roles, served clients globally while focusing in the life sciences practice. Keith completed EY’s Executive Leadership Certificate Program at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University (2007) and the AACSB’s Bridge Program, “Your Path from Executive to Educator”, at Washington University in St. Louis (2016). Keith maintains his professional credentials through consulting work at BDO. Keith coordinates the University's Masters of Science in Accountancy Summer Accounting Immersion Program.
