This is the fifth of seven lectures in the Ten Years Hence speaker series that will explore Life Beyond Earth.

Asteroid Mining – A Trillion Dollar Industry for the 21st Century is presented by Robert Jedicke, Professor of Astronomy at the University of Hawaii Institute for Astronomy. He was the development manager of their Moving Object Processing System for the Pan-STARRS telescope on Maui that is now the world’s leading discovery system for asteroids and comets.

Free and open to students, faculty, staff and the Notre Dame community.  No registration is required. Visitors must wear masks in compliance with the University’s COVID-19 guidelines.
