In this two-day Supervisory Development program, both new and experienced supervisors develop the practical skills needed for dealing with day-to-day challenges. You’ll also learn techniques to better understand your own leadership style and your team members’ needs.
Participants in this program are managers, team leaders and directors with at least three to five years in the workforce and who are either transitioning into a leadership role or wanting to discover their leadership potential.

This program is more than a certificate. By participating in this unique learning experience on the campus of the University of Notre Dame, you’ll get to network with others in similar positions who are also seeking to better lead their teams. The curriculum is uniquely designed to address the issues that you face day-to-day, and will provide you with a set of resources that you can call upon when you return to your work environment.

A benefit of participating in a professional development program is the network you develop among your fellow participants. Networking opportunities are fostered here at Notre Dame in programs offered by the Stayer Center for Executive Education.
The Supervisory Development program is designed for new frontline supervisors and for more experienced team leaders looking to update their skills with the latest techniques. You’ll learn the skills for effective supervision, leadership, delegation and more.

Meeting times are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Eastern time each day.
Upon the successful completion of this program, the participant will receive a document certifying that the participant completed the program. The document will not qualify as an academic credential, and the recipient will not earn any academic credits at the University of Notre Dame in connection with the program. Participants in the program are not students at the University of Notre Dame, and completion of the program does not qualify any participant for status as an alumnus of the University of Notre Dame.
