Scholarships

How it Works

Our scholarships are awarded based on a holistic review of your application. All applicants are automatically considered, and, aligned with our mission, scholarship recipients are expected to actively contribute to the Executive MBA and Mendoza communities throughout their time at Notre Dame.

Military & Veterans

The University of Notre Dame assists veterans and their families by offering its support regarding the use of Veteran Affairs (VA) benefits. Visit the Office of the Registrar, the Office of Military and Veteran Affairs, and the Office of Financial Aid pages for details and key points of contact for any questions you have regarding your benefits as a military veteran student.

Veterans Benefits

The University of Notre Dame is approved for VA education benefits, including the Post-9/11 GI Bill® (Chapter 33) and the Yellow Ribbon Program.

For questions regarding eligibility, benefit coverage, or certification, please contact Notre Dame’s Veterans Affairs team for individualized assistance.

For some veterans, Veterans Readiness and Employment is a better fit than is the G.I. Bill for their education financing needs. To learn more, visit the Veterans Affairs VR&E website.

MBA Veterans Career Conference & Expo reimbursement is provided by the MBA Military Veterans Club.

Visit the Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs for Indiana-specific veterans benefits.

For a comprehensive list of veteran resources that may help you with your post-military plans in general, visit the Transitioning Servicemembers Cheat Sheet.

Loans & Other Resources

Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan

U.S. applicants may be eligible for a non-need-based Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan, which will be included in your financial aid offer after reviewing your FAFSA. These loans require repayment with interest, beginning six months after you cease to be enrolled at least half-time.

More About Federal Loans

After exploring all federal aid options, applicants may consider private loan opportunities to further support their educational expenses. Private loans can help bridge the gap between federal aid and the total cost of attendance. International students are also eligible for private loans, often with a U.S. co-signer.

More About Private Loans

Notre Dame’s Office of Student Accounts partners with Nelnet, the provider of IRISHPAY, to offer an interest-free monthly payment plan for the 2025/2026 academic year. This plan allows families to spread educational expenses over monthly installments. Payments will be automatically deducted from a U.S. checking or savings account on the first of each month.
