Kevin Hartman


Biography

Kevin Hartman is an Associate Teaching Professor of Marketing at the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business, bringing decades of experience at the intersection of marketing, data, and technology to the Global EMBA program. Throughout his career, he has led large analytics teams at Google, where he served as Chief Analytics Strategist, as well as global advertising agency FCB, and the analytics consultancy he founded, Nore Analytics. Kevin’s work focuses on blending art and science to develop fact-based strategies that reduce uncertainty and enhance marketing effectiveness.

In the Global EMBA program, Kevin teaches MBAE 70550 Automation and AI Marketing, a course exploring how automation and artificial intelligence are transforming the marketing landscape. Leveraging his experience working with Fortune 500 companies, Kevin equips executives with the knowledge and tools to understand AI-driven technologies like predictive analytics, personalization, and process automation while considering their ethical implications.

Kevin is a best-selling author of Digital Marketing Analytics: In Theory and In Practice, a six-time winner of the Advertising Research Foundation Ogilvy Award, and has helped shape award-winning campaigns recognized with Cannes Lions, Effies, and Tempos. He holds a BA from the University of Notre Dame and both an MBA and MPP from the University of Chicago.
