Aesha Browne’s background includes 15 years at Whirlpool, where she led teams of up to 500 employees in areas such as assembly operations, supply chain project lead, and cost optimization/data analytics. In January 2021, Aesha left Whirlpool for Caterpillar, a Fortune 100 corporation that designs, develops, engineers, manufacturers, markets and sells machinery and engines, among other things. There she is the senior manager for the inbound supply chain management.
“I started watching various webinars and signing up to get more information about programs in the Midwest,” Aesha says. In addition to Notre Dame, Browne considered Chicago Booth and Purdue – schools in the Midwest where she lives with her husband and two children, a five-year-old daughter, and an eight-year-old son.
“I’d always wanted a business degree with the hope of pivoting to a role that allowed me to own the business portion of it, as well,” Aesha continues. “I’ve got the technical side down pat, now I just need to know the business side and hopefully go on to become a general manager or vice president.”
Right away, Aesha knew that Notre Dame was the right fit for her. “Everything I read and watched about the Mendoza College of Business spoke to its aspiration for excellence – to grow the good in business. And that’s exactly what I want to do.”

You’ll refine your creative and strategic problem-solving skills as we challenge you to think differently, reflect deeply and transform your approach to problem solving. Your journey begins with the Executive Integral Leadership, a weeklong, high-impact program on the Notre Dame campus that students call “transformational.”
You’ll be assigned to a small-group study team of people from different industries and backgrounds when you first enter the program. This approach creates a collaborative learning environment and enables you to leverage varying skill sets for maximum success through the program.
Participate in the weeklong, project-based international immersion experience, where you’ll be connected with an international company or organization to help solve a specific business challenge. Past students have traveled to Brussels, China and Turkey to apply their first-year coursework in an international setting.
