Scholarships

How it Works

Our scholarships are awarded based on a holistic review of your academic achievements, career potential, and financial need. All applicants are automatically considered for scholarships by indicating their interest on the application.

  • Aligned with our mission, scholarship recipients are expected to actively contribute to the MBA and Mendoza communities throughout their time at Notre Dame.
  • Applicants can provide a written statement (250 words or less) within the application to further support their scholarship request.
Meyer Fellows

Kenneth R. Meyer '66, retired Chairman and CEO of Lincoln Capital Management Co., has generously endowed our most prestigious scholarship. Each year, eight incoming students who exhibit exceptional academic performance and leadership potential are selected as Meyer Fellows. This distinguished cohort receives a full tuition scholarship and an annual stipend of $25,000. Additionally, Meyer Fellows benefit from comprehensive health insurance coverage and priority registration, ensuring access to in-demand classes.

As a sponsor school for the Forte Foundation, Notre Dame is committed to launching women into successful business careers. Forte Fellows are recognized for their academic aptitude, leadership, and future potential. Forte Fellows are granted special access to the Forte community, including leadership conference access, mentoring and career development opportunities, and network development.

The Brogan Fellows is a second year scholarship awarded to the four MBA women with the highest GPA after their first year of the two-year MBA program. All women, regardless of academic background or work experience, are automatically considered for this prestigious award.

Loans & Other Resources

Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan

U.S. applicants may be eligible for a non-need-based Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan, which will be included in your financial aid offer after reviewing your FAFSA. These loans require repayment with interest, beginning six months after you cease to be enrolled at least half-time.

Federal Direct PLUS Loan

U.S. applicants may also qualify for a Federal Direct PLUS loan, which provides borrowing in excess of your Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan. Applicants must complete the FAFSA and determine Federal Direct Loan eligibility prior to applying for a PLUS Loan.

More About Federal Loans

After exploring all federal aid options, applicants may consider private loan opportunities to further support their educational expenses. Private loans can help bridge the gap between federal aid and the total cost of attendance. International students are also eligible for private loans, often with a U.S. co-signer.

Notre Dame’s Office of Student Accounts partners with Nelnet, the provider of IRISHPAY, to offer an interest-free monthly payment plan for the 2024/2025 academic year. This plan allows families to spread educational expenses over monthly installments. Payments will be automatically deducted from a U.S. checking or savings account on the first of each month.

More About Payment Plans

As a Notre Dame graduate student, you may be eligible for limited part-time employment opportunities on campus. These roles can include positions within various campus departments or assistantships arranged through your academic program. Earnings from part-time work are intended to help cover personal and educational expenses without affecting your financial aid.
