Jessica Watkins is an Assistant Professor of Accountancy. Jessica’s research centers on capital market participants’ use of accounting information and disclosure. She teaches Introductory Financial Accounting to undergraduates in the Mendoza College of Business. Prior to joining the faculty, Jessica worked as an auditor at PwC and received her Ph.D. from Indiana University and her M.S.A. and B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.

Jessica was the recipient of the Deloitte Foundation Doctoral Fellowship in Accounting, an award granted annually to ten top accounting Ph.D. candidates across the country. She was also the recipient of the Outstanding Doctoral Student Award as well as the Panschar Teaching Award from the Kelley School of Business.
