Finance Professor John Halloran received his BS.C. from St. Louis University and his MBA and Ph.D. in Finance from Washington University in St. Louis. His teaching and research interests lie in the fields of corporate finance and management of financial institutions. Halloran currently teaches the required first course in corporate finance in all six graduate programs of the Mendoza College.

From 1994 to 1999, Halloran served as Director of the Center for Research in Banking in the Mendoza College of Business. He has extensive experience in the conduct of executive education seminars in the areas of corporate finance for organizations such as Bayer, IBM, TTX, LANXESS, and OfficeMax. Halloran has received teaching awards for his work with executives, MBA students, and undergraduates.
