Keith Urtel

Keith Urtel is an Associate Teaching Professor with over 35 years in public accounting practice, primarily with Ernst & Young. At EY, he held various audit and accounting leadership roles, served clients globally while focusing in the life sciences practice, and logged over 500 hours as an in-class room instructor. Keith completed EY’s Executive Leadership Certificate Program at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University (2007) and the AACSB’s Bridge Program, “Your Path from Executive to Educator”, at Washington University in St. Louis (2016). Keith maintains his professional credentials through accounting, assurance and auditing consulting work. Keith coordinates the University's Masters of Science in Accountancy Summer Accounting Immersion Program.
