Keith Urtel is an Associate Teaching Professor after nearly 35 years in public accounting practice, primarily with Ernst & Young. At EY, he held various audit and accounting leadership roles, traveled worldwide in client service and logged over 500 hours as an in-class room instructor. Keith completed EY’s leadership certificate program at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University (2007) and the AACSB’s Bridge Program, “Your Path from Executive to Educator”, at Washington University in St. Louis (2016). Keith maintains his professional credentials as a Principal/Consultant of Quality & Risk Management for MBAF, a top 40 CPA firm. Keith is also the Faculty Academic Director of the University's Masters of Science in Accountancy program. Keith is married and has two sons, who are both married, and two grandsons.
