  • Biography

Ben Wilson is the Director of the Office of Experiential and Global Learning at the Mendoza College of Business. Ben's team is charged with creating formative learning experiences in which students apply their academic knowledge to solve real-world business challenges, forge meaningful relationships with business leaders and peers in a spirit of mutual service, and develop the skills and habits required to grow the good in business throughout their career journey. The Office of Experiential and Global Learning at Mendoza oversees Grow Irish across graduate degree programs, MBA Mods Away, Global EMBA immersions, and more. In Ben's role as director, he serves the diverse students, faculty, and staff of Mendoza by elevating existing experiential learning opportunities and creating new programming to meet emerging needs and interests.

Prior to joining Mendoza, Ben directed the Summer Service Learning Program (SSLP) at Notre Dame's Center for Social Concerns from 2016-2022 and held a range of positions within the SSLP since 2010. Ben earned a BA in Philosophy as well as a Master of Divinity from the University of Notre Dame. A frequent writer and speaker on topics related to Catholic social teaching, he also has experience in secondary education, fundraising, and international development. He and his wife Mary Ann have seven children and live in downtown South Bend.
