Ben Wilson is the Associate Director of Experiential Learning at the Mendoza College of Business. Along with Director Megan Piersma and Assistant Director Jim Cunningham, Ben serves the diverse students, faculty, and staff of Mendoza by supporting existing experiential learning opportunities and creating new programming to meet emerging needs and interests. Experiential Learning at Mendoza seeks to facilitate robust real-world learning opportunities through which students demonstrate and deepen skills, form relationships with potential employers, and cultivate a clearer sense of how business can be a way to contribute to human flourishing, cooperate with others in solidarity, and compete with excellence.
Prior to joining Mendoza, Ben directed the Summer Service Learning Program (SSLP) at Notre Dame's Center for Social Concerns from 2016-2022 and held a range of positions within the SSLP since 2010. Ben earned a BA in Philosophy as well as a Master of Divinity from the University of Notre Dame. A frequent writer and speaker on topics related to Catholic social teaching, he also has experience in secondary education, fundraising, and international development. He and his wife Mary Ann have six children and live in downtown South Bend.
