Yuqing Zhang

Becky (Yuqing) Zhang is an incoming Ph.D. student in Analytics at the University of Notre Dame. She holds an M.S. in Computational and Applied Mathematics from the University of Chicago and a B.S. in Computer Science, Economics, and Applied Mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis. Becky has engaged in significant research projects, including the development of optimization models and image processing algorithms. Her professional experience includes internships where she applied advanced mathematical models to real-world problems in power systems and data science. Passionate about translating theoretical mathematics into practical solutions, Becky aims to continue her research in optimization and contribute to academia.
