Deb Coch joined Mendoza in 1998 and holds the position of Administrative Assistant. In this position, she serves as the administrative assistant to the Director and Associate Director of the Notre Dame Deloitte Center for Ethical Leadership, and to the Director of Mendoza Alumni Relations. She is the primary contact person for outside parties who seek information regarding the Notre Dame Deloitte Center for Ethical Leadership, and Mendoza Alumni Relations. She assists the Directors with preparation of board meetings, lectures, symposiums, speakers, special events, conferences, special projects, and day to day activity. She coordinates hotel accommodations, meals, transportation, publicity, and entertainment for conference attendees and lecturers. She prepares and processes all financial transactions including check requisitions, reimbursements, account transfers, purchase requests, deposits and travel.
In 1985, Coch began her career at Notre Dame as Senior Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Vice President in the Office of Research. Other positions she has held at the University are Office Manager in the Department of Undergraduate Admissions, Senior Administrative Assistant to the Dean in the College of Arts and Letters, and Administrative Assistant to the Director of the Center for Ethics and Religious Values in Business.
Coch attended Indiana University South Bend, and West Tennessee Business College. She holds a certificate in the Today’s Administrative Professional (TAP) program.
