Henrique Goncalves is a fifth-year PhD candidate in Strategy & Entrepreneurship at the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business. His research examines how executives and firms react and adapt to technological disruption, the stakeholder conflicts and tradeoffs that arise during such transitions, and the impact of strategic decisions on the firm and its stakeholders. He also studies how political ideology and ideological intensity can affect strategic decision-making.
Henrique received his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and his MBA from Notre Dame. Prior to entering academia, he spent several years working in oil & gas, fintech, and software solutions companies.
