Jefferson McClain received a B.S. in Business Management with a minor in Statistics from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. During his undergraduate program, he worked as a research assistant in the fields of physiology and developmental biology, religious studies, and business management. Upon graduating, Jefferson worked as a statistician at a management consulting firm, DecisionWise, in Springville, Utah. During his time at BYU and DecisionWise, Jefferson coached club and high school swim. His professional and educational experiences have shown him the importance of understanding how personal actions and interactions with others lead to consequential outcomes. He is currently involved in research projects in several areas, including bias perceptions, meaning in work, organizational justice, and leadership.
